The 1830 Warehouse

A watercolour and ink painting of the 1830 Warehouse in Manchester. This was painted in the studio, based on an historical photo of the warehouse. I admire the industrial heritage of the city, and wanted to paint something that reflected this. The way the light casts a deep shadow across the courtyard really inspired me to paint this.

Paper

Painted on cold pressed, 300gsm 100% cotton Arches watercolour paper. Please note that the original watercolour may include small marks or blemishes not visible in the photo, as is common with all physical paintings.
